PA to the Executive Manager: Health Standards Development, Analysis and Support (Ref #: OHSC8/2017)

Salary: R 334 545 per annum (plus applicable benefits)

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Business Administration, Secretarial Support, Office Administration/Management or related field
  • Additional qualifications in secretarial support or office administration will be an added advantage
  • At least 6 years’ experience in rendering secretarial/personal assistant duties of which 4 years mus have been as a Personal Assistant to a Senior Manager
  • Experience in the health or social services sector or a regulatory environment will be an advantage
  • Ability to act with tact and discretion
  • Ability to research and analyse documents and situations
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office packages
  • A valid driver’s licence

Duties:

  • Manage the Executive Managers appointment schedule and meeting arrangements
  • Administer and facilitate the Executive Managers communications and relationships
  • Manage the preparation, production and administration of the Executive Manager’s business documents
  • Coordinate Divisional meetings and provision of administrative support
  • Manage travel arrangements and itinerary for the unit
  • Manage the office as well as the image and resources of the office
  • Administer the Executive Manager and Divisional Director’s expenditure records and reports
  • Support stakeholder and staff relations and communications
  • Support the Executive Manager and Divisional Director’s in the management and reporting of staff performance and work productivity
