MANAGER: MARKETING AND STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS (12-MONTH CONTRACT) (Ref #: OHSC :29/2022)

Salary: An all-inclusive salary package of R 908 502 per annum (basic salary consists of 70% or 76% of the total package, States contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund (13% of basic salary) and a flexible portion). The flexible portion can be structured according to OHSC guidelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Communication, Public Relations,
Journalism, Marketing, or Advertising. At least 5 years’ experience in Communication, Public
Relations, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising of which 3 years must have been at a junior
management level. Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal). Problem solving
and decision-making skills. Understanding of intergovernmental relations, communications
approaches, methods, and technologies. A valid driver licence. A relevant Postgraduate
qualification as well as experience in communication, product pitching, presentation, document
layout and design would be an advantage.

Duties:

Development and implementation of marketing and stakeholder engagements
strategies. Management of marketing, campaigns, and stakeholder relations strategies.
Contribute towards development and evaluation of marketing and public awareness strategies.
Management of digital and social media platforms. Writing and editing of corporate publications,
and promotional material. Draft opinion pieces, write letters, media statements, speeches, and
website content. Assist in designing and developing a media relations strategy.
