DEPUTY DIRECTOR: LEGAL SERVICES (12 MONTH CONTRACT) (Ref #: (REF NO: OHSC 14/2018))

Salary: An all-inclusive remuneration package R826 053 per annum

Requirements:

• A four-year bachelor’s degree in the legal field

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a legal environment

• Must be an admitted Attorney or Advocate

• Experience in board support in a public sector/health or social services/ regulatory environment will be an added advantage

• Analytical and innovative thinking skills

• Judgement, problem-solving and decision making skills

• Planning, organising and coordinating skills

• Communication skills (written and verbal)

• Interpersonal skills • Networking skills

• Computer skills (MS Office)

• A valid driver’s license.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice to Management and the Board of OHSC

• Draft, edit and amend contracts, Service Level Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding in line     with the OHSC policies and procedures

• Conduct legal analysis and research with regards to legal matters pertaining to the OHSC

• Manage litigation by and against the OHSC

• Assist the Board Secretary with legal and board secretarial duties.
