Deputy Director: Data Analytics (6-month fixed-term contract) (Ref #: OHSC 12/2024)

Salary: An all-inclusive salary package of R 1 003 890 per annum.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Actuarial Sciences, Epidemiology, Monitoring and Evaluation or Health Sciences field. At least five (5) years’ experience in health care research, three (3) of which must have been at a junior management or equivalent level. A post-graduate qualification in the above-mentioned field would be an advantage. Analytical and interpretive skills. Good judgement, problem solving and conflict handling skills. Advanced computer skills and experience in using STATA, SAS or SPSS

Duties:

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the OHSC strategic information management unit. Support and contribute to data collection, analysis and management of activities of the OHSC. Support and contribute to the development and implementation of monitoring and reporting plans. Assist with ministerial and parliamentary communications, correspondence and submissions.
