Deputy Director: Complaints Centre (12 month contract) (Ref #: OHSC/8/2018)
Salary: An all-inclusive remuneration package: R 826 053 per annum
Requirements:
- A three-year bachelor’s degree or three year Diploma/National Diploma in the Health Sciences field
- Current registration with the relevant professional body/council
- Proficiency in more than two languages
- A Certificate in Quality Assurance, Customer Service or Call Centre will be an added advantage
- At least 8 years’ experience in the healthcare field of which 5 years must have been at a junior management or equivalent level
- Excellent communication and conflict handling skills
- Willingness to work outside of normal working hours
- Computer and report writing skills
- A valid driver’s license.
Duties:
- Manage the Complaints Centre
- Manage the complaints registration and handling framework and strategy
- Manage the registration and processing of complaints/enquiries regarding healthcare complaints
- Manage the resolution or transfer of healthcare complaints
- Manage and maintain the complaints database
- Compile and timely submit weekly and monthly reports
- Acceptance of delegation for ensuring effective and efficient Complaints Management operations.
