Complaints Officer: Complaints Centre (Ref #: OHSC 15/2022)
Salary: R 261 372 per annum (plus applicable benefits)
Requirements:
A three year bachelor’s degree/three year diploma/National Diploma in Social Sciences, Health Sciences, Public/Business Administration or related field.
At least two (2) years’ experience in complaints management in a health-related environment or a health regulatory environment.
Proficiency in more than two official languages would be an advantage.
A certificate in Customer Services, Call Centre Agency or related field would be an added advantage. Excellent communication and conflict handling skills.
Must also have initiative as well as problem solving and computer skills.
Willingness to work outside of normal working hours.
A valid driver’s licence.
Duties:
Receive and register all complaints, alerts, compliments or enquiries in the relevant system provided.
Address healthcare complaints and enquiries.
Administer healthcare complaints.
Maintain the complaints database.
