Assistant Director: Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (Ref #: OHSC 23/2020)
Salary: R376 596 per annum (plus applicable benefits)
Requirements:
A three year Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Social/Economic Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration/Management or Statistics.
A Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation would serve as an advantage. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
Aforementioned experience obtained in the health care sector, will serve as an added advantage.
Experience in data management and analysis software packages such as MS Access, Excel, STATA, SAS or SPSS is required.
Skills required: Computer literacy (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), report writing, problem-solving,
decision making, and conflict resolution.
Good Knowledge and understanding of legislative and policy framework governing policy, programme, process performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting in the Public Service. Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Duties:
Provide support to the planning, monitoring and evaluation processes.
Assist in developing and implementing organisational performance monitoring and reporting processes.
Participate in the development of the annual performance information report.
Provide day to day administrative support for planning, monitoring and evaluation activities.
