Salary: R 477 090 per annum (plus 37% in lieu of benefits)

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a health sciences field. Current registration with the relevant body/council. A post-graduate qualification in public health would be an advantage. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in health care of which (2) years should have been in the management of health information systems/health care quality management/  case management or project management in health care. Good communication (written and verbal) and computer literacy skills. Report writing, analytical assessment and evaluation skills. Willingness to work outside normal hours. A valid driver’s license.

Duties:

Manage the administration of the early warning information system. Development of health establishments’ risk profile register. Support the development of procedures and protocols for the early warning system. Monitor and verify the completeness, accuracy and timelines of data submitted. Support the implementation of the recommendations by the early warning system forum.
