Assistant Director: Data Analysis and Reporting on a 12-month contract (Ref #: OHSC 10/2022)
Salary: R 477 090 per annum (plus 37% in lieu of benefits)
Requirements:
A BSc degree in Statistics/Computer Science.
A post-graduate qualification in data science/biostatistics would be an advantage.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics.
Experience in business analytics would be an added advantage.
Good communication (written and verbal) and computer literacy skills.
Report writing, analytical assessment and evaluation skills.
Willingness to work outside normal hours.
A valid driver’s license.
Duties:
Assist and manage the identification of data analysis needs.
Assist with the development of syntaxis used for arrangement and manipulation of datasets.
Assist with the management of datasets from the OHSC information systems.
Assist to produce statistical information to guide feedback to stakeholders and recommendations provided
by the OHSC.
Assist with the packaging and sharing of data for further analysis.
