Salary: R 477 090 per annum (plus 37% in lieu of benefits)
Requirements:
A BSc degree in Statistics/Computer Science. A post-graduate qualification in data science/biostatistics would be an advantage. A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience of which 2 years should have been intensive practical experience in Data Analytics or Data Science. Experience in business analytics would be an added advantage. Good communication (written and verbal) and computer literacy skills. Report writing, analytical assessment and evaluation skills. Willingness to work outside normal hours. A valid driver’s license.
Duties:
Assist with the identification of data analysis needs. Assist with the development of syntaxes used for arrangement and manipulation of large datasets. Assist with the management and mapping of datasets from the OHSC information systems and data warehouse. Assist to produce statistical information and reports to guide the OHSC’s recommendation to the health system. Assist to create dashboards to visualize summaries of OHSC datasets
