ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: COMPLIANCE INSPECTIONS (2 POSTS) (Ref #: OHSC 26/2022)

Salary: R 477 090 per annum (plus applicable benefits)

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in the health sciences field.

A current practicing certificate with the relevant body/council.

At least five (5) years’ experience in a junior management or supervisory position in health care services.

Must have an understanding of the health system.

A valid driver’s license.

Experience in quality assurance/improvement and/or inspection processes would be an advantage.

Skills required: computer literacy (word, excel and PowerPoint), report writing, problem-solving, decision making, communication (written and verbal) and conflict resolution.

Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Must be prepared to travel extensively and very frequently and willingness to work outside the normal working hours

Duties:

Planning for inspections and re-inspections.

Conduct inspections and re-inspection visits to health establishments.

Validate and complete inspection reports and recommendations.

Participate in the orientation and training of other employees.

Manage and account for the use of resources.

Manage and mitigate risks.
