ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: ANNUAL RETURNS (12-MONTH CONTRACT) (Ref #: OHSC: 27/2022)

Salary: R 491 403 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences field.

At least 5 years’ experience in health care, 3 of which must have been in direct patient care.

Experience must include health data analysis and/ or management of health information systems.

Good communication skills (written and verbal) interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.

Postgraduate qualification in health care will serve as an advantage.

Experience in health care quality management/case management/ project management in healthcare will serve as an added advantage.

Duties:

Manage the administration of the annual returns information system.

Assist health facilities with annual return submission processes.

Support the development of procedures and protocols (governance systems) for the submission of annual returns on the annual returns information system.

Monitor and verify the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of data submitted.

Maintain and monitor an updated national health establishment register.
